Enrique Palomino, Navarro College
Baseball player Enrique Palomino signed with Navarro College on Monday, Feb. 6.
Palomino started playing baseball when he was 4 years old and has continued to play in and out of school.
“My favorite memory is from junior year when I played in my first district game,” said Palomino.
One thing that stood out to Palomino was the way the upperclassmen he played alongside treated him. He dedicated his gameplay to ensure that he was always helping to push the team to victory.
“The biggest challenge I’ve faced is learning how I can benefit my team to win a game,” said Palomino.
Palomino plans on majoring in Kinesiology, and he wants to become a physical therapist for sports players. He hopes to leave his mark on the field and take all that he has learned to Navarro with him.
“I hope to be remembered for my competitiveness, and I hope it reaches the other players,” said Palomino. “I’d like to thank my teammates for always challenging me to get better.”
