Mrs. Jensen is a new teacher in the English department and coach for the girls track & basketball teams. Jensen graduated from Abilene University & was a part of the university’s Women’s Basketball program.

Jensen has been a Plano West coach for several years, but only came to our campus for a teaching position this year. Moving into a position where her coaching and teaching are paired, Jensen has new opportunities to connect with students in meaningful ways.

“The relationships created between me and my students is the most rewarding part,” said Jensen.

Jensen is a foster parent in addition to teaching and coaching. She prefers to foster older children to balance out the bias many families have for choosing only younger children from orphanages.
