Morgan Carter, Volleyball, University of South Carolina

Morgan Carter just signed with the University of South Carolina. She has always wanted to participate in the SEC and this was one of the leading factors to her signing.

“When I was in the process of getting recruited from USC I was super excited because I always wanted to play in the SEC conference,” Carter said. “I played with 2 other recruits in my class and was consistently contacting them about USC.” 

The other big deciding factor that Morgan Carter used to make her decision was the bond between her and the rest of the sports program.

“I went on my unofficial visit last year with 3 other girls and instantly fell in love with the campus,” Carter said. “The coaches and players were all so easy to talk to and I loved the chemistry on the team. The coaches are amazing and USC provided all I could ever want. The class of 2021 had 5 committed and all of them are amazing. I am super excited to be a part of an amazing program next year!!”

Carter also described why she enjoys the sport and how close she is to her fellow players.

“I love Volleyball because I love being on different teams that love to compete and enjoy the sport as much as I do,” Carter said. “Every team I have been on we quickly become sisters and learn so much about each other.”

Morgan Carter lastly told us about who she is as a player and what she does for her team.

“ I love being the hype girl on the team and hyping each player up,” Carter said. “USC has an amazing and energetic vibe in their program and I felt like I could get super far in my Volleyball career and academically.”
