This year is Sana Hameed’s first year on staff. Other than newspaper, Hameed is a part of Writer’s Guild, French Honors Society, Quill and Scroll International Honor Society and National Honors Society and is currently a Model United Nations secretariat. Journalism has made Hameed more comfortable when approaching people that she never would have in the past and helping her streamline her writing. After graduating with a degree in journalism, Hammed wants to work for a magazine or newspaper. However, her biggest goal is to publish a fantasy fiction novel and move to New York City to pursue a literary career. Writing prose and poetry, reading, tae kwon do and volunteering are among Hameed’s many hobbies.
