Volleyball Player, Camryn McGough signed with the University of Arkansas Monticello on November 10th.

McGough immediately knew the University of Arkansas Monticello was where she wanted to continue her volleyball career.

“I chose the University of Arkansas Monticello because it felt like home to me and was a perfect fit for me,” said McGough.

Volleyball has always been a key part of McGough’s life, guiding her through every year of school.

“I started in the 2nd-grade playing rec volleyball,” said McGough.

Playing volleyball for so many years has taught McGough plenty of valuable lessons.

“Volleyball has taught me how to be a team player and how to maintain a positive attitude,” said McGough.

While McGough has enjoyed playing volleyball, she has certainly faced some challenges over the past two years.

“The time management and commitment have been difficult to get used to,” said McGough.

No challenge is too difficult for McGough to conquer. Beyond volleyball, McGough has high hopes to enter a career in education.

“In college, I plan to major in elementary education and be a kindergarten or special education teacher,” said McGough.
