New Assistant Principal Joins Student Services
Previously working at Dallas ISD elementary schools, Eric Lockett joins Plano West Senior High School as the new Assistant Principal.
“My favorite aspect of teaching is seeing students and their progress,” said Mr. Lockett. “I love watching them succeed in meeting their goals whatever they are.”
Mr. Lockett graduated from Prairie View A&M University and found his love for teaching through watching his family in the education system.
“My interest in teaching began with family connections,” says Mr. Lockett. “Both of my parents were educators. My mom was a school counselor and my dad was a Principal.”
Outside of school, Mr. Lockett has welcomed many experiences: joining a band in his teenage years, meeting random celebrities, and watching all kinds of sports!
“I had the world’s greatest teenage band growing up,” said Mr.Lockett.
