Mr. Summers Joins The Special Education Department
After teaching for 11 years, David Summers joins West’s Special Education department. He graduated from Texas Women’s University and loves watching college football.
He chose to teach special education because he wanted to be the teacher he never had in high school.
“My favorite aspect of teaching is getting to know my students and understanding their unique perspective on life and helping them achieve their goals,” Mr. Summers said.
Aside from school, he’s helped open three restaurants, rescued and fostered over 100 dogs, and married his high school sweetheart.
