Mr. Matthew Parkman joins Social Studies department
Mr. Matthew Parkman is one of the new members of the social studies department, teaching sociology and coaching girls basketball.
After growing up in McKinney, Mr. Parkman attended college at Stephen F. Austin. He taught in Frisco ISD at Independence High School prior to Plano West and has been a dedicated mentor for his students and players.
“I am a big fan of history and have always enjoyed it,” said Mr. Parkman. “I was interested in teaching because I like to make others better.”
When he is not teaching, Mr. Parkman enjoys playing basketball, working out, video games and anime shows.
