Junior Class President elections ran from September 20th to September 24th and Roya Ardah received the most votes, becoming the 2021-2022 Junior Class President.

Roya Ardah is a Clinicals student, a former Jasper Student Council Member, and an active member of National Honor Society and HOSA. Ardah advocated for raising awareness of mental health issues.

“Being able to balance [mental health and academics] is very important.” Ardah said. “If you’re not okay mentally, you’re not going to do better in school. If we can help kids prioritize their mental health, then they’ll start seeing a change in their school life as well.”

Ardah has high hopes for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. She worked alongside the Student Council to discuss her visions and aspirations for the community moving forward.

“I’m super excited to get to work with the student council this year. Coming up with ideas and communicating on how we can make the school year better, you really feel like you could make a difference.” Ardah said.
